SHE IS NOT SLEEPING.
Her eyes are closed, but she’s fully awake.

Her arm is numb, her back hurts, and she’s stuck in the most uncomfortable position. But she won’t move—because her baby is finally comfortable and asleep on her chest.

She’s tired, she just wants to rest, but instead she listens to every little breath, every tiny movement.

And tomorrow night? She’ll do the same thing again. Because that’s what moms do—sacrifice comfort for the peace of their little one.

Mom nights are long, messy, and exhausting… but filled with the kind of love that makes it all worth it. ❤️

To all the moms out there—you’re not alone. We see you, we feel you, and we love you.

One day, mapapansin mo na lumalaki na pala ang anak mo. Nag-iiba na ang kanilang itsura at ugali. Magugulat ka na lang na hindi na sila clingy sayo. Enjoy them habang bata pa sila. 😍

“You’re lucky you’re breastfeeding… it must be easy for you.”

❌ WRONG.

Breastfeeding is not easy.

👉 Those sleepless nights when your baby gets hungry at dawn—no one else can feed them but you.
👉 Not being able to go out for long because your breasts will get full and painful.
👉 Smelling like sour milk sometimes because of leaking milk.
👉 Having to change clothes often because of constant leaks.
👉 Needing to buy breast pads just so your shirt doesn’t soak through, especially when you’re out.
👉 And most of all, your body always feels sore—because you’re constantly carrying, holding, and cradling your baby in your arms.

Yes, breastfeeding is a big deal—it saves money, it’s nutritious, and it’s the best for our babies. But to say it’s easy? NOPE. 🤣 That’s fake news!

To all breastfeeding moms—whether direct latch or pumping—we salute you. 🫶

The Real Cost of Breastfeeding 🤱🍼💪

People often say breastfeeding is “free.”
No need to buy formula, bottles, or extras.

But the truth? Breastfeeding—whether directly nursing or pumping—comes with costs that go far beyond money.

It costs time—hours spent latching, feeding, or hooked up to a pump while listening to the steady hum.
It costs sleep—late nights when you’re torn between resting and making sure there’s enough milk stored.
It costs energy—because producing milk literally takes from your body’s strength and nutrition.
It costs comfort—sore ni***es, engorgement, clogged ducts, leaking shirts, or the ache from sitting through another pumping session.
It costs freedom—every outing or workday planned around pumping schedules, milk storage, or whether your baby will need you soon.

And yet, despite all these hidden costs, breastfeeding and pumping give something priceless in return.
The bond. The comfort. The immune protection. The health benefits for both baby and mom. The quiet reminder that your body is capable of sustaining life even outside the womb.

So no—breastfeeding isn’t really “free.”
It takes a lot from a mother’s body, time, and heart.
But it gives back something we can’t put a price on: love, connection, and the best start we can offer our babies. 💕

To the moms nursing at 2 a.m., to the moms pumping in cars, offices, bathrooms, and bedrooms—you are superheroes. 🦸‍♀️

Be mindful of your reactions.

Accidents are inevitable —
Spills can be cleaned.
Plates can be replaced.
Glass can be swept away.
Clothes can be washed.

But words?
Those can have a lasting impact, and childhood trauma caused by them can take a lifetime to heal.

Break the cycle,
Be gentle with your tone,
and speak love to your children.
