🏀🇦🇺For the second time in less than a year our incredible have the opportunity to play their world class brand of basketball on home soil as part of a World Cup.

It was an honour to be allowed to firstly watch them behind closed doors on one of their final training sessions and see firsthand how they build chemistry, connection and hone a lifetime of skills under the incredible tutelage of coach of the year and exceptional coaching staff.

This team, the league and sport are so lucky to have some truly value aligned partners and it was such a pleasure to then get to host the offical Sponsor and Team Dinner at Sydney. Thank you Shannon and skipper for speaking so candidly about the , the team and the sport as well as sharing stories about your time representing your country.

The determination, passion and drive of the Opals is so inspiring and the sponsors by their side is exciting to witness.

‘Time is often what we want most, and use worst’. I couldn’t think of a better way to have spent my time over the NBA finals than with my family who put on one of the best activations alongside .marcy and his legends at .

They set up the most impressive custom made court in for a 3-point comp, invited local stars to join in the fun, threw a fancy VIP party and then hosted an interactive screening of Game 4.

To top off the most wonderful event, they gifted me newest love, my very first solid gold Tissot⌚️that I truly adore.

🙋🏼‍♀️ SOLO ADVENTURES | for over 20 years I’ve been heading off on solo travel adventures which gives me enormous freedom to explore, reflect and grow. I have literally travelled the world on my own, but I’m very rarely on my own for very long. Making new travel buddies along the way with shared values and travel styles is such a blessing and part of the joy.

I do adore the time on my own too, it’s where I really get to see first hard how I’ve grown and developed since the trip before. It’s kind of like you can’t see your own hair grow until you look back at pictures and wonder when and how it ‘suddenly’ grew so long.

Travelling solo is of course full of challenges but that’s just part of the adventure. Meeting new people, experiencing a new culture and connecting with every part of myself is worth any challenge thrown my way.

While this little Bali trip in April was a last minute addition to my life and intended to be solo, I wasn’t alone very long - how else would I have these cheeky snaps 😉

🌴Bali bonds are strong. How ridiculously lucky to have explored, experienced and shared this magical island all while pi***ng ourselves laughing.

We survived the bucketing rain at the worst moments, confused everyone on who is coupled with who (hint: none of the above) and drank literally all the cocktails.

Love you both and will relive these memories forever. Except for the f**kening, that can f**k right off.

🏏 ’s Community Awards nights are something special, a chance for everyone within a community to feel acknowledged, recognised and most importantly celebrated. 

The Women’s Community Awards and Community Cricket Awards nights were both filled with incredible talent, current and historical stories and a warmth that reminds us that it’s always bigger than sport.

It's such a great reminder as humans we just want to be seen and feel like we belong, these moments provide that and so much more.

Thank you for inviting me to MC these warm events, I love working with and your wonderful team.
