Meet Wamalwa Peter,who became the first man to win the annual Kanduyi eating competition 3 years in a row. Wamalwa floored his close rival Matayo after wiping 4kgs of Ugali and omena sprinkled with chicken soup in 17 minutes. His close competitor took 26 minutes to finish the same meal. He was awarded with 1 bag of maize,6 tins of beans,8litres of cooking oil and cash amounting to 12,000. He was promised a fully paid trip to the local maize milling company

She witnessed his rise from the early days at F.C. Paços de Ferreira all the way to Liverpool FC.

Together, they had three children and only recently tied the knot after years of being together.

Truly gutted for her. Truly heartbreaking. Our deepest condolences go out to her, their children, and the family and friends of Diogo Jota. 🕊️🥀
