This year, chaine_des_rotisseurs_macau joined the Official Bastille Day celebration help at Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16 as a supporting member.
It was a time to celebrate the French culture, gastronomy and its National moto of “ Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité“ among fellow Chaîne members of Macau and Hong Kong!

Sunday lunch at .
Was an overall nice experience with some aspects that can be improved. The Cava Sangria was really nice!
We were received by friendly staff that brought us two (!) slices of a sweet garlic bread. Could be more and normal bread…!
We started with (what I was hoping and praying!) some Padron Peppers but the size was like getting bell peppers..! So sad and disappointing…
The rest of the food was nice, way better than last time I was there, so it was a nice lunch.
Desserts should be improved as there’s a very small selection and hardly any truly Spanish one!
The thing that really bothered me was the music…from all the Spanish artists, folk music, etc… they were playing… Portuguese (fado and “pimba”!!!)!! So weird! :)
But nevertheless, was a nice lunch!

A lovely sparkling 2015 still very much alive and kicking!!
Pale golden color, with some fine bubbles and a lovely ending. Aroma deeply lush, intense, with interesting toasted and buttery notes. Vivid and stunning on the mouth. Elegant, creamy, voluminous, seductive and very long finish.
A really nice surprise as I didn’t expect such a lively sparkling with 10 years of life!

What a fantastic OMGD event by Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Macau !! With the presence of 5 Bailliages (Macau, Beijing, Hong Kong, Eastern Seaboard and Bangkok Rattanakosin) we started the evening with a welcoming champagne base cocktail and Napoleon’s favorite Champagne, Moët & Chandon!
From that moment onwards, food and pairing wines were absolute divine!
The evening ended with the Frasqueira Particular Novidade Vintage 1815!!!
Thank you all for being present and specially to Preston John from Beijing and Chef Basil Yu and Aux Beaux Arts Culinary and Service Team!!

Before catching the flights home, nothing like a lovely dim sum at Parisian Macao 澳門巴黎人 ‘s Lotus Palace.
The food was very good and full of flavors and we got the pleasure of Chef bypuzzle at the table!

After a very successful omgdglobal_hq dinner, we headed to TACOS by miumiu Portuguese And Mexican foods for a relaxing and full of fun Sunday dinner!!
