Once again returning to Nantucket with the highest of expectations.

The five star weekend in this book is centered around a widow struggling with grief and reading somewhere that inviting 4 friends from different stages of her life will help her grieve. Except one of them is keeping an insane friendship ending secret, one is currently being canceled online, one is struggling with a breast cancer diagnosis, & the other is a helicopter (friend) 🥸

Side note my fav Pinot Grigio is mentioned in here (and I’m 2.5 glasses into it as I type this)

Loved this one (no shock) and will be reading hotel Nantucket next 🤍

A Jessa standalone? Yes. Sign me up. I am a true jessa stan and will forever be. She gives us vulnerability like no other, and creates the realest of stories/characters.

I read the first few pages and already knew I’d love this experience. I got a quarter of the way done with this one in just a couple of hours. I really enjoy her writing.

Let me make this clear… there are a lot of triggers in here. I never thought I’d have nightmares over a JH book but yeah. Just be mindful when you pick this one up. The plot flows so well though. There were a lot of typos in this and that always drives me crazy for 60 seconds.

One thing I found annoying is the constant repeating of the FULL name of the MMC. Pls we know his last name is Penny😭

you do the damn thing every time! This book was amazing.

The amount of detail that goes in to her books is amazing. I don’t know if she has a character map pinned in every room of her house or what but it’s amazing. She truly does take you for a crazy ride around Nantucket. I got halfway done with this one in a day and was determined to finish it the next one.

I actually called my mom to tell her about this one, it was crazy. She got to hear every detail from me. Also I got CHILLS at this ending. So beautiful!

The ex girlfriend murder club by is out!!

This book follows 3 women who discover they’re dating the same boy (he is def not a man. We hate him) & they decide it’s time for some revenge!

Except whoops he’s unalived and they are the prime suspects 🥸 so funny, such a quick read, and definitely worth the read 🤍💫

⭐️⭐️⭐️

okay don’t judge me I bought this based solely off this edition. But I was having a bad day and I needed it okay🥲🥲🥲 i paired the audiobook with this one for peak supernatural vibes. 💀🎃

About 100 pages into this one I still couldn’t decide how I felt about it. Balancing the spice between the plot I couldn’t tell if it was my cup of tea. I can tell the FMC is meant to be a total badass and she somewhat is despite being so naive 🥲🥲

I definitely pushed through this one despite being mentally done at 75%

Voyage of the Damned x Frances White
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

A great pride month read and I’m so glad I picked it up!!

The only damned thing I hated was the damned chapters that were long as hell. I don’t know where to start with this one other than the fact that everything had me on the edge of my seat. On top of that the wittiness and banter displayed by the MMC was phenomenal. Huge plot twist as well that I was floored by.

I decided to take half a star off because I felt some of the scenes were repetitive or dragged on, but other than that this was great 🤍🤍

Today is publishing day for and thank you for the arc!! 🤍

This is a dual pov (wife & husband) dark comedy. Genuinely the wittiness from the very beginning got me hooked. I’m interested to see how an audiobook of this one would be, because I’d do a reread for it!

If you’ve read the mindf*ck series this is similar to that on a much more lighthearted scale! There are some themes in this one I feel need a heads up for like infertility, child abuse/neglect, & heavy Christianity.

The Family Remains x Lisa Jewell
⭐️⭐️⭐️

genuinely only picked this one up bc I already owned it. Book 1 wasn’t anything crazy for me. I rated it 3.5, and the only other LJ book I have on my TBR is the night she returned after already reading none of this is true but I’m contemplating reading her new one. The first half of this book flew by and kept me enthralled. I was excited to finish this story.

Once I got to the second half I realized one important POV was all the sudden left out that genuinely could’ve made this book 80 pages shorter 🥲🥲🥲🥲

The triggers were a lot for me but it was a good book overall and had short chapters!
