🌙 Evening Thoughts: Wrapping Up the Day 🌙

1. House Check:
The toys are mostly put away, the kitchen is kind of clean, and the laundry… well, it’s there. Small wins count, right? 🧺✨

2. Mum Time:
Finally sitting down with a cup of tea and a candle burning. These little moments feel like luxury after a busy day. 💖

3. Gratitude Mode:
Grateful for the chaos, the cuddles, and the lessons today brought. Motherhood isn’t perfect, but it’s mine, and I wouldn’t trade it.

4. Evening Reminder:
It’s okay if everything isn’t done. Rest is productive, too. Tomorrow is another chance to try again. 🌟

5. Question for You:
What’s one thing you’re proud of today? Let’s share and celebrate the wins! 🎉💬

Do you know how to make your home more resistant to flooding? 💧
Ad. By installing these 3 simple items, you can be Flood Smart and help to protect your home.

1. Install a toilet b**g - this is an inflatable, that you place within the U-Bend of your toilet. Once in place, simply inflate using a pump. The toilet b**g works by creating a barrier to stop any dirty water & sewage entering your property as the water levels rise.
2. Secure an air brick cover - this creates a water tight seal around the air bricks on your property. In a flood, air bricks can let in up to 50,000 litres of water per hour… making air brick covers a great way to prevent excessive amounts of water from entering your home.
3. Install a non-return valve. This should be installed on the inlet water pipe or on your sink waste pipe. The valve works by preventing water from coming back up the drain pipe, whilst still allowing water to leave the property.

These resistant measures can be put into action when there is a warning of flooding in your area and will subsequently reduce the amount of damage caused to your home.
