There’s something magical about hate makha gorur jhol 🐮✨

Honestly, I could wipe out a full plate of rice just with the soft potatoes and that rich, spiced broth 😌🍛

Here’s how I made this comfort classic:

Added garam masala (cinnamon, cardamom, cloves), black pepper, and a bay leaf

Dropped in potatoes and a handful of garlic cloves

Then came onion, ginger paste, and garlic paste

Followed by turmeric, red chili, coriander, and cumin powder

Drizzled in mustard oil
→ Then mix mix mix 🫶

After marinating, sautéed for 5 minutes
💦 Added hot water and slow-cooked it on low to medium heat for 2 hours

That’s it. A bowl of warmth, spice, and memories — your hate makha gorur jhol is ready!

This breakfast didn’t just fill the tummy, it made the morning feel right.

For snacks I had crispy aloo puri + chicken nuggets = a combo my heart didn’t know it needed!
Perfect for that lazy, feel-good kind of day with zero guilt and full joy.

🥔 Aloo Curry & Paratha – Comfort on a Plate
After coming home from work, cooking something comforting yet simple is all I crave.
Tonight, I went with what my soul asked for — potato curry and homemade paratha.
Paratha Dough:
• Flour
• Salt
• Oil
• ½ tsp sugar
• Warm water
→ Mix and let rest.
Potato Curry:
• Potato (chopped)
• Masoor dal (washed)
• Onion & garlic
• Cumin seeds, dry red chili
• Turmeric powder, salt
• A pinch of sugar
Steps:
• Temper cumin & chili in hot oil.
• Add onion, garlic → sauté golden.
• Add dal & potato → turmeric & salt → sauté.
• When potatoes are golden, add water.
• Let it cook till creamy. Add a pinch of sugar.
• Meanwhile, roll out the dough and make parathas.
That’s it. A warm dinner to end a busy day — soft parathas with creamy aloo dal curry.

🥣 Healthy Overnight Oats – Because Mornings Are Always Busy

What I use:
1 banana (chopped)
1 apple (chopped)
4–5 tbsp rolled oats
1 spoon peanut butter
Warm milk (enough to cover)
Steps:
Place chopped fruits in a tiffin box.
Add oats and peanut butter.
Pour warm milk. Mix now or later.
Once cool, close the lid and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, give it a mix and enjoy.
Easy, filling, and full of love from the night before.
