🚨 New *Welcome to the Poddy* episode just dropped 🚨

Clay’s back on the mic after a wild run of gigs, a manic public incident involving a Nepalese man, and enough stress to finally admit he might need a break. This week, he’s reviewing The Studio (Apple TV) — a painfully accurate comedy about showbiz politics, dream jobs gone wrong, and the kind of boss who wants to be your mate... until he throws you under the bus.

If you've ever had a weird manager, taken on too much, or watched someone unravel in public — this episode might just hit a little too close to home.

A wild true story about Rodney Alcala, the serial killer who somehow landed a spot on a dating show like it was 'The Voice' for psychos. I paired this film with vanilla ice cream, because while Rodney was a cold individual, there was nothing exotic about this flick. If you know one thing about me by now, it’s that I love a true story, but I hate that it made me sit through another round of Anna Kendrick doing that “I’m quirky but also exhausted” thing she does in every role. The film’s tight, stylish, and thankfully short. The ending felt rushed, but I was already mentally walking to the car - from the comfort of my own home, mind you. The sexist audition scene set the tone early - while the film is primarily about victims of gRape and murder, keep some space in your heart for actresses who have been objectified. 6/10 bad dates — Creepy, compelling, and just annoying enough to make you google the real story after.

Anna Kendrick's wit is celebrated, but is it genuine? We explore whether her humor comes from writers, especially with AI looming. Writers deserve credit! Let's be real about actors and scripts.

🎙️ New Episode Alert: Woman of the Hour [NETFLIX] and Diddy was Guilty at "Gallons" 😷📺

What do a 1970s dating show, a real-life serial killer, and Anna Kendrick have in common? Too much, apparently.

This week on Welcome to the Poddy, we’re reviewing Netflix’s Woman of the Hour — a true crime film that proves the creepiest thing on TV might not be the murderer. Also featuring: sexism in auditions, cops doing *nothing*, and one of the weirdest real-life dating stories of all time.

Plus, personal tales of quiz night disasters and dates that made us question the justice system. You don’t want to miss this one.
