We had a great celebration of life for Haley’s 2 years in heaven this weekend. I’m so grateful for all the amazing friends and family I have that are so supportive. I’m thankful for each and every one of them. Thank you to for making the celebration even better!

My family had a great week in Breckenridge, Colorado. It’s been many years since we have all been together with just us. Only missing piece was Haley. But this is part of the grief process as we all continue to heal. Our Airbnb was amazing and had a great view. I will share more later about where we stayed in case anyone is looking for a great place to stay.

Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day to Haley and happy Mother’s Day to my mom! Weston and I spent some time at the gravesite today. Haley was an incredible mom to Weston! Mother’s Day is tough for me for 2 reasons.

One, Haley was put on this earth to be a mom. That’s all she ever cared about. I know more than anyone how badly her heart yearned to be a mom and know how hard she fought to make it a reality.

Two, having to explain to Weston why his mom is not here. It breaks my heart every time but he amazes me with his understanding and strength.

I’m so grateful I got to tell Haley’s story again, this time on the podcast with . It was an amazing experience. God is so good! Not sure when the episode is supposed to air but I will keep you all posted.
