Good evening all,
It has been awhile.
I hope you are staying sane through this Political madness.
What ever your Political party, you can’t be happy.
300 Million Americans, and this is the best we can do.
Most of Americans wish we had an option more in the center, one who could unify us, not divide us further.
Shouldn’t be a Us vs. Them choice, but one that unites us and prepares to for the future outside threats that surely will come.

Good afternoon all,
There is a phrase that we hear all the time, but few, whether you are a Republican or Democrat believe.
‘No one is above the Law’

Everyone, on both sides of the Political spectrum, will site example after example how that is simply not true.

Each side points to some big names Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Micheal Flynn….

Justice is supposed to be blind…
Shouldn’t matter how well connected you are…but most of believe it does.

Shouldn’t we be able to fix a problem everyone, no matter what your political affiliation is thinks is wrong?

The vast majority of Americans are basically decent people.
Each political party has about a 10% extreme wing, AOC/Squad on the Left and Marjorie Taylor Greene/ Geatz folks on the Right we just need to ignore them.
They, on both sides, do not speak for most of us. That leaves about 80% of the Country, you and I, the vast middle, to shape our Future.

The biggest issues we face, we face together, regardless of Party.
Inflation, Safe schools, basic human rights, China, Russia, Terrorism threats…. Effect us all,
Regardless if Party.

What issues do you believe effect us all and how do start to rally the majority of us?

Good morning all,
I saw a great Meme, and I want you thoughts.
So, just a couple of weeks ago, we had another Mass shooting.
Many people, including children died.
This time during a 4th of July Parade.
The shooter was a young man with an assault style weapon.
He was apprehended, and will be tried for the crime.

Here is the MEME showing both sides:

Freedom is my Constitutional right to own guns
Freedom is my right to take my family to a Parade and not get killed.

Seemingly, two opposite end of the spectrum viewpoints.
Both are right, but how do we accommodate both?

Simple, but provacative.....your thoughts are always valuable here at Voice of Democracy.

Good afternoon all,
We are back, and here for you.

Reposting our most popular Post to kick-start our conversation.

America, I am so tired of the media trying to split us apart.
I am all for free speech, it is definitly a right we enjoy and no question our Founding Fathers got that right.

But, our media in it's quest for ratings just wants to find any issue that can get its viewers riled up against the other side.
The networks have no shortage of these high paid talking heads, they parade them out ready with worthless research to prove their side of the story...and probably sell their latest book.
Because of them, there is no such thing as disagreeing anymore....this is a blood sport, either you see it my way or we are enemies.

How about an occasional story where all Americans agree.
News flash...latest poll says all Americans want a better life for their Children...all want clean water, affordable food, safe schools, we all want those Freedoms promised by our Founding Fathers.

Sorry, media...I won't hate my neighbor just because you want me to.
America is better than that.

In your opinion, what is an issue on which all Americans can agree? I will compile them and share on a future post....hopefully, some politician will hear us and run on the platform that will bring us together.
