Father of 3. I’m Rich Marks — a storyteller, creator, and host of the 20-Year Timeout podcast. The idea came from a simple question: What happened to everyone I used to know? Each episode is a real-time reunion with someone from my past — a childhood friend, an old bandmate, a former coworker — to see how life, creativity, and perspective have evolved over twenty years. The conversations are unscripted, sometimes awkward, often funny, and always real. When I’m not behind the mic, I’m a dad of three under four, a coffee-driven idea machine, and a lifelong fan of classic Nintendo. I stay grounded through movement — running, kettlebells, and body-weight training — and inspired through creative play: making beats, experimenting on YouTube, and chasing curiosity wherever it leads. At its heart, 20-Year Timeout is about rediscovering connection — to people, creativity, and the moments that made us who we are.
