Jail Breaker Potato Chips Topless Outlaws Gun For $5K Smoky Mountain Speedway Hall of Fame Fall Classic – Saturday, September 20th
(Maryville, TN – 9-10-25) The cars and stars of the Jail Breaker Potato Chips Topless Outlaws Dirt Late Model Series will host the Smoky Mountain Speedway Hall of Fame Fall Classic, paying $5,000 to win and $400 to start on Saturday, September 20th.
It will mark the series 9th overall visit to the 3/8-mile oval situated in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The most recent Topless Outlaws feature winner was John Ownbey of Cleveland, Tenn. who was among 51 entrants for the $4,222 to win Lester Weeks Memorial on May 24th.
Other past winners include Corey Hedgcock of Loudon, Tenn. with three wins, two coming in 2020 and one win in 2021. Chase King of Seymour, Tenn. has one win in 2021 and Skip Arp of Georgetown, Tenn. has claimed three overall wins coming in 2022, 2023 and was the Hall of Fame race winner last year on September 14th.
Local racing legend and National Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer the late Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, Tenn. will be the lone inductee into the 2025 Smoky Mountain Speedway Hall of Fame during a half time ceremony. Speakers at the ceremoney will be Scott's daughter Ariel Bloomquist and David Miller of Hoosier Tire.
There will also be local racing divisions and Juice Box Racers for kids age 2 to 8 will be on the undercard for Saturday night, September 20th.
