✪ Bio: A project borne of curiosity and sonic exploration, Scionaugh brings together a perfect balance of alien, instrumental and organic sounds that are equal parts groovy, driving and playful, the sonic sorcery of Scionaugh provides a dancefloor experience like no other.

The notorious mad scientist of Australian bush prog is renowned for his knowledge of sound theory and mathematics, something immediately evident in the clean complexity of his production. This knowledge has also formed the foundation of his Sektion Sound channel, through which he teaches sound design, waveform theory, and audio production.

Throughout his career as a producer, Scionaugh has enchanted dancefloors across major festivals, including Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Elements, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Twisted Frequency NZ, Elysium, Groove and Bass CAN, and Wild Horses. Along these adventures, he has performed alongside scene heavyweights including Grouch, Electrypnose, Twisted Sibling, Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Smilk, and Sensient.

As well as these live performances, the Scionaugh project has released music on Universal Tribe Records AUS, Alpaka Muzik CAN, Weapon Records AUS, Technophobia Records ISR, Padang Records BRA , Sentimony Records LV, Visionary Shamanic Records UK, Jaira Records AUS, Mindscape ESP , Dense Nebula ZA, Tranquil Sounds AUS and Khao Records AUS. This extensive discography is a journey through the development of the Scionaugh sound, showcasing the depth and breadth of his curiosity and experimentation over the years.

“Pspiralife”: An adventure that is appropriate for any time of the day or night, the Pspiralife experience is a fresh, fun and dynamic, omni-directional journey through a fusion of the full spectrum of various Psy Trance sub-genres whilst subtly incorporating elements of Techno, EDM, Classical, Jazz and Cinematic film. Pspiralife has played at festivals in Europe, Brazil, Israel, USA, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Mauritius and several states of Australia, alongside Sensient, Talpa, Zyce, Ace Ventura, Captain Hook, Tetrameth, Grouch, Hedflux, Ryanosaurus, Vini Vici, Headroom, Neelix, Shadow Fx, Tom Cosm, and many more. Upon gaining a strong following over the next 10 years Pspiralife has performed on the main stage of both Boom Festival and three editions of Universo Paralello.

A true Jekyll and Hyde, Xaphan performs to the masses, igniting the crowd with his chunky bush-techno and twisted psy-techno. Xaphan breaks the mould with his everlasting energy, versatility and creativity behind the decks, showing the masses how deep the rabbit hole really goes! Medular is a modular/analogue based psytech live act based in Mexico City that uses continuous exploration around the blending of live and acoustic instruments with dance floor oriented solid funky beats, which has emerged from the union of Pablo Peniche (aka Xompax) and Brun González (aka Brun Balanced), releasing music with Anarkick Records (Holland ), Blind Arc (Portugal), Techgnosis Records (Canada), Undergroove Music (Mexico), Traum Schallplatten (Germany) and Digital Diamonds (Germany).

It drives from experimenting with live synths and hypnotic jam sessions that coalesce into beautifully evolving tracks and elegant acid beats. This aesthetic comes from trying to bring the psychedelic glitch Spirit into minimal techno in a freer and experimental way that is alive and breaths from the interaction of the digital and analogue entities.
