It is with a heavy heart to know that a great legend has just passed Ozzy Osborne. To know that he put on a concert just a few weeks ago and he's gone. We here at 1 GEAR Radio wish his family condolences as an Icon is gone, the Godfather of Metal is gone. It is hard. Rock on Ozzy. You will be missed.

I posted this on Instagram back on Monday and it has been 5 days since Ozzy's retirement or maybe six six and it's bittersweet. To know that Ozzy will no longer take that stage is a hard thing to see this man was not just a legend this man was an icon and a pioneer in metal music. His legacy will live on through the music that we will also play on our station. I guess it was better to see him at one final performance because this is what he loved doing. All the proceeds went to Parkinson's and no band got paid everybody volunteered. The legend that this man created goes far beyond this man is the Godfather of metal music. And we all want to live our dreams. Thank you for the memories Ozzy you will be truly missed.
