Sacred Women of the Land

They carry the dawn in their eyes,
the rivers flow within their veins.
Earth remembers their footsteps,
songs of ancestors whisper their names.

Mothers, daughters, grandmothers,
keepers of stories, of fire, of seed.
With every prayer they weave in silence,
they heal the wounds the world still bleeds.

Their hair is the night sky unraveling,
braids tied with feathers of flight.
Their voices are drums of remembrance,
their spirit, a flame that will not die.

Sacred women, roots unbroken,
pillars of mountains, guardians of streams.
Through them the land finds its rhythm,
through them the future still dreams.

Mother Bear’s Whisper

Within my shadow you will grow,
my cub, my heart, my endless glow.
The forest holds our stories deep,
the mountains guard the dreams you keep.

I teach you strength in every stride,
to stand with courage, never hide.
For one day, child, the path you tread
may be without my watchful stead.

Yet even then, remember this—
my love is stone, my prayer, your bliss.
The spirit of bear will guide your way,
through darkest night and brightest day.

So walk with fire, but gentle too,
the world is vast, yet made for you.
Be brave, my cub, though skies may fall,
my soul walks with you, through it all.

Turtle Island’s Promise

Upon the shell, the stories stay,
Of sun and circle, night and day.
The wolf, the buffalo, eagle’s flight,
Guard the children in the light.

The turtle carries earth and song,
A sacred vow to keep us strong.
No voice forgotten, hearts remember:
Every Child Matter — now and forever.

Heron’s Reflection

In the stillness of autumn’s breath,
the heron leans toward its own soul.
Painted wings bear the memory of ancestors,
lines and spirals echoing prayers in flight.

The water listens
every ripple a heartbeat,
every leaf a drifting song.

Between earth and sky,
between silence and whisper,
the heron remembers:
to drink is to honor,
to bow is to belong.

Whispers of the Sacred Circle
👉 https://nativefamilyarts.com/c025
Upon the earth so wide and free,
A mother guards her child with plea.
In gentle fur, in watchful eyes,
The ancient spirit never dies.

The rabbit speaks of love untold,
A bond more sacred than the gold.
Through forests deep, through endless skies,
Their heartbeat echoes, never lies.

“Every Child Matters,” winds proclaim,
Each life a fire, a sacred flame.
No voice forgotten, none erased,
Each soul forever held, embraced.

So may we walk with tender care,
Protect the young, their burdens share.
For in each child, the future grows,
Like rivers flowing, life still flows.
