This cannot be true. I'm shattered. The coolest girl I've ever. Funny, smart, truly, truly talented, forever best friend, confidant...I'm so blessed to have known her, starting back at Club Scream in 1988. She let me direct her early videos, helped with stage work, we worked together on the Geffen album cover, complete with an LA earthquake upon completion. Played gigs together. Always a joy to be around, so much great conversation and stories, always kind, cool and bold. Her music defined the era. I'm so so sorry to hear this. Blessings, peace and love. God bless.
