Picked up Jeanne D'Arc from Bad Squiddo Games at the UK Games Expo. Perfect addition for my chivalry warband. Gave her Sisters of Battle white hair but I resisted the urge to paint black armour.

Joe's Age of Chivalry project is finally complete with 13 points of units painted. Used mainly as French so far but intended for use as multiple factions.

Mostly Perry plastics with some Gripping Beast.

French knights ready to charge the English archers on the hill in a game of Sacred Ground.

Lack of rare dice delayed the French charges for a few turns allowing the English to build up points and chip away with their shooting. Finally the flying wedge in turn 4 killed the English warlord and a unit of archers to take the hill. The remnants of the English forces held on and it was too late for the French to catch up on points so the game finished in a draw.

Pot-de-fer Love this hilariously primitive early cannon. Small scratch build project but just the thing for the Age of Chivalry tournament tomorrow. Let's hope they roll that 11!

Yes it's a Saga Summer once again with the GM is back at Britcon. This time we have a new format to test player skill across the ages.

TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE FOR OFFICIAL UK SAGA GRAND MELEE!!!!!!
This year the SAGA GM will be at BritCon in Leicester on 23/24 August in the lovely The Venue@DMU.
The GM is being organised by the current GM Champ, Joe of Northern Tempest so you know it's in good hands.
Saturday will be Age of Vikings & Age of Invasions warbands, Sunday is Age of Crusades & Age of Chivalry. You can enter just the Saturday or the whole weekend - I'll put the link to the info page in the comments as it explains it best there.
In another comment, I will put the link for tickets.
This year's Player pack will be up shortly too.
Lord S will be in attendance to provide much needed glamour and to offer tactical advice where needed (Don't bother, it's always "Charge!!")
We're very much looking forward to the event!!

Pavise crossbowmen using Perry plastics mercs. I wanted a way to use them with or without the shields and quite pleased with this solution.
