The Seattle Star For the cultured Seattleite. Seattle's finest online journal of and for the commons. The Seattle Star is the result. Taking our name and inspiration from E.W.

A group of writers, ex-Seattlest, ex-Village Voice, ex-Eat the State, decided in late 2011 that Seattle needed its own version of the East Coast Establishment magazines like The New Yorker, Harper's and The Atlantic: a general magazine about things interesting to cultured Seattleites. Scripps's original newspaper as well as the renowned comix tabloid from Starhead Comix, we promote progressive ide

as in politics, technology, and culture and emphasize the social functions of the arts in our society.
