When visiting Cordoba in Andalusia, Spain, one can witness a rich tapestry of influences, including those of the Romans, Visigoths, Moors, Jews, and Christians. Initially established by the Romans in the 2nd century BC the city is now inhabited by 346,000 people. It underwent a transformative period during the 8th century following the Moorish conquest. This era saw Cordoba ascend to unparalleled glory, with the construction of 300 mosques, as well as numerous palaces and public buildings designed to rival the grandeur of Constantinople, Damascus, and Baghdad. Today, Cordoba’s historic center is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with great cultural value.

My Journey

Hello all!

My name is Sanziana Feyer and I am the proud writer & owner of sannafey.com.

I am originally from Romania, however I’ve been living in Sweden for the past five years. Moving all my life, I feel like I belong to the whole world. That is also why I have a passion for traveling, the main subject on my blog.

I studied all my youth at German language schools in Romania and when I moved to Sweden I joined the IB program, which was the best thing that I could have done. It opened up my perspective to the world. Afterwards, I took my BA in International Migration and Ethnic Relations at Malmö University. This is where I wait for the next part of my studies - a Masters Program in Strategic Communication.
