Meet Your Instructor
Franco has discreetly script-doctored for movies and writers you've heard of. He's directed award-winning music videos and commercials for clients like MySpace and GBX Shoes. He worked as an editor on Ed Harris's Academy Award-winning film "Pollack". He designed and animated one of Universal Television's first hit reality shows, "Blind Date". As a writer/producer for FX Channel, he cowrote with 5-time Emmy Award-winning writer Sandy Frank. He enjoys judging film festivals, mentoring emerging filmmakers, and working quietly in the background to help people succeed.

Alex, is a 20-something-year-old who begrudgingly moves back to his childhood home in Miami from New York after a breakup. Blinded by his optimism of returning to New York after the Summer, Alex underestimates the inevitable hurricane that is adulthood. Looking for an escape, he soon finds comfort in Chris, a random hookup, who shows him what a life in Miami might have to offer.

Special Guest Chris Molina is a Miami-based filmmaker whose work focuses on q***r stories. He leans heavily on his own personal experiences, often blurring the line between fiction and autobiography. Chris’s films have played festivals like Frameline, DOC NYC, New Orleans Film Festival, and Indie Grits.
