In July 2024 when Jack Russell announced his retirement; radio show host Dave Wood started working on a tribute show to honor Jack and his decades worth of music. A month after his retirement announcement; he passed away from complications of Lewy Body Dementia and Multiple System Atrophy. Dave put the tribute show on hold. Friends, family and fans needed to time to grieve and process our loss.

After returning home from the Celebration of Life concert in California, Dave started again, putting together a tribute to honor Jack.

It's time.

Dave's Jack Russell tribute radio show will be in two parts:
Part one will air on CGCM Radio June 8th at 8pm eastern standard time, and will include songs personally chosen by the Jack's social media team ( Veronica, Dave, Sara, Dave and Karen) to honor him. After that set, he'll play a set of a few of the many cover songs Jack did, and close out part one with an interview Dave did with him back in March 2021.

Part two will air on CGCM Radio June 15th at 8pm eastern standard time, and will include songs chosen by some of Jack's band mates (Once Bitten and colleagues (Robby, Tony, Dan, Ken, Gunter Dicki Fliszar, Matthew, Chris, Nate and Claude). With a very special treat to close out the show.
