We had over 30+ wonderful submissions for our cover design contest, so thank you to everyone who participated. These are our FOUR FINALISTS, and we really can’t pick out a winner between them, which is why we will let YOU (IB students, teachers, and alumni) decide which is the best.
Here is how we plan to proceed: this weekend, Saturday, Feb 8th, around 12pm GMT (UK time) we will upload this post to the .ib.memes account along with a Poll sticker so that students can vote for their favorite design. There are over 80k followers, so we expect at least around 10,000 votes. The winning design will be the one with the most votes. We are doing this over a 24hr space over the weekend to make it fair for students to vote from across all timezones (as IB is a very international community).

We will remind you all again on Saturday. Best of luck to our four finalists!

DR. SOPHIE MUSCATELLI holds three degrees in Business Management, including a Master's degree in International Business Management from Newcastle Business School, UK, and a Master's in Research Methods for Business Management and a Ph.D. in Business Management from the University of Bradford, UK. Along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Cumbria. She began teaching IBDP Business Management in 2019 in schools in Athens, Greece and offers online tutoring.'

Do you have a knack for graphic design? Would you like to have your creation be our next book cover?

Zouev Publishing is opening submissions for recent IB grads and current students interested in designing the cover for our next book, called ’50 TIPS, TRICKS, AND SECRETS FOR THE SUCCESFULL IB STUDENT’ (which is the 2nd edition of the widely popular 45 Tips.. see next slide).

Specifications:
- Book will be 5x8 inches. We will mostly need just a design for the front
- The ‘50’ needs to be quite prominent (see next slide), but the rest of design we will leave up to you!
- Choose your own color schemes / ideas. Get creative! See Table of Contents (last slide for inspo).. But it should be at least tangentially related to the IBDP/Academia/School etc.
- Author names (4x) will also need to be somewhere on cover
- PLEASE NO AI IMAGES / MIDJOURNEY (unless it’s so good that we can’t tell lol)

Perks:
- If your design is chosen, you will get $200 cash
- Your name (+social media handle/website) will be on the cover and inside the book
- The previous edition of the book sold over 25,000 copies since 2017. So, it will be seen and read by thousands of IB students
- Bragging Rights: will look great on your CV/LinkedIn

ARE YOU AN IB AND AI EXPERT?
We are opening submissions for recent IB grads interested in becoming authors and publishing a new IB guidebook which aims to help new candidates utilize all of the new Al tools at their disposal.
Working title: 'How to Use Al for your IB (and ChatGPT for your EE)'
Chapters could include: how to use Al for IB essay planning; how to use Al to make an IB revision schedule; how to use Al to create new past paper questions; how NOT to use Al (how to avoid academic malpractice); how to use Midjourney for Visual Art inspiration; etc.
Book length; 60-80 pages (regular small book format 5x8 inches), 6-8 chapters
Commission: $700-1000; or percentage of book sales (negotiable)
