PKL's team downfall in the EWC: What's the reason?

Hi guys! Graham here your resident HoK analyst. Sad day for PH teams kahapon as all our PH teams have been eliminated. Gusto ko malaman yung root cause ng issue as help sa mga PH teams to improve their game upon review ng game eto ang major reason.

WE HAVE NOT MOVED ON FROM BRAND X.

Brand X have been here for years na and we have dominated the mobile MOBA scene for as long as it is being played. This is the problem. A lot of players, coaches, analysts think that playing like how we have played brand X will give us success sa world stage ng HoK but that is actually the opposite. Worse? Playing the game like brand x is unconciously being engraved and incentivised into the scene making our performance poor.

Proof? look at our content creators, very rare content creators discuss how the game is being played, explaining rotations and the macro part of the game. instead our HoK tiktok reels are flooded with quadra and penta kills and flashy highlights. Casters highlight team fights more than the team's rotation and map movement. Heck, even HoK PH themselves focus more on posting player's KDA, kill count and damage while other regions (for example below: HoK Malaysia) has more focus on Objective kills. Please see difference on the pictures below.

Is it the caster's and content creator's fault? Definitely no. Yun lang kasi yung nakasanayan and dun mas nakaka attract ng tao yung game.

In short we need to break out from the Brand X mentality to be compete better sa wordl stage.
