Ahead of his upcoming exhibition at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House, which launches this September, Ryan Preciado speaks with rafa esparza () about the influences behind his art, from the acrylics of LA car culture to the colours of Memphis design. His furniture pieces and more abstract sculptures bring these references together through the act of ‘listening’, a kind of openness to being moved by the world around him.
