George Paul Memorial Bull Riding Weekend is kicking off tonight at the Ramada's White Horse. The Del Rio Chamber of Commerce's Mixer kicks off at 5 p.m. (you should see the free appetizers Chef Marco has created!) at the Ramada and at 6:30 p.m., The Jace Martin Band starts rollicking in the White Horse!
Who is the Jase Martin Band? Jason Martinez, the frontman of the Jase Martin Band, is a three-time Grammy nominee. These nominations were earned during his tenure with the Electric Cowboys, the country iteration of the Tejano group Grupo Vida. Martinez joined Grupo Vida in 1997 as a guitarist and later became the lead singer after Art Tigerina's departure. Under his leadership, the band received three Grammy nominations and multiple Tejano Music Awards.
Check them out tonight as Martinez's struts his stuff in this dynamic Texas-based group known for delivering high-energy performances that blend country, Tejano, and classic hits from the '80s and '90s. Billed as the “Greatest Show in Texas,” their live shows are a staple across the state’s music venues and festivals.
