Hey friends! A few months ago I had the pleasure of cutting a fun little doc and it’s about to hit some screens!
Tickets are now on sale for the world premiere of the award-winning documentary, “Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker”! Directed by Deirdre Allen Timmons, the 38-minute film explores the making of Lily Verlaine and Jasper McCann’s snazzy, jazzy and tantalizing take on Tchaikovsky’s classic holiday show.
The film will screen at the New York-based Dance on Camera Festival, at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 18 – and will be available for 72 hours after the premiere.
Tickets are for sale at www.danceoncamerafestival.org. The cost is $9 per program, or $48 for a festival pass. Some discounts are available. Jump online (or should we say ‘sashay online’?) for your tickets now!
