How to Be Authentically "Welcoming” to BIPOC Audiences - Culture Track

"The cornerstone of any successful brand is trust. That is, developing a bullet-proof—or at least resilient—relationship between the audience and the creator. It is of particular value when interfacing with BIPOC communities in the 21st century, especially when trying to distinguish a brand from the commodification circus that capitalizes on social justice and equity issues to appeal to a fleeting, clout-chasing audience. Indeed, the key to enduring success lies in the avoidance of the trap of immediate consumer appeal." Aja Johnson, our Strategy Fellow elaborates on authenticity and welcoming audiences in her blog post: https://culturetrack.com/ideas/how-to-be-authentically-welcoming-to-bipoc-audiences/ #CultureTrack #CCTCstudy Culture Track

What We Learned from 2020 - Culture Track

"As we now move to a new stage of vaccination availability and gradual evolution toward a “new normal,” attitudes and experiences borne of dislocation and necessity in the quarantine and post-quarantine world are likely to be carried forward and expressed as behaviors that will impact the ways cultural organizations will need to redefine themselves as they seek to connect with and provide meaning for tomorrow’s audiences."
