🚨 A RIVER OF DISEASE IN GAUTENG? 💀🌊 The Klip River, once a vital water source for communities in Gauteng, has now turned into a toxic stream of sewage, chemicals, and death. Residents describe it as a "river of disease" — and rightfully so. 💔
But one man, Dr Ferrial Adam from WaterCAN, is refusing to let it stay that way. Armed with water testing kits and a fierce determination, he’s exposing the truth and holding those in power accountable. 🧪⚖️
E. coli levels in this river are 100x higher than the legal limit. The pollution threatens not only the environment but the lives and livelihoods of people who rely on this river for farming, fishing, and survival. 🐟🌽
Dr Adam is calling on YOU and me to raise our voices. He says, “We need to keep the pressure on.”
💧 South Africa deserves safe, clean water.
💧 Gauteng deserves functioning wastewater plants.
💧 Our rivers deserve better.
Let’s not wait until it’s too late. Let’s act, speak out, and protect our people and planet. 🌍
