Due to the perfectly angled sunlight I was able to shoot some great footage. I captured the gorgeous colors of the hunting kingfisher, also when it coughed up a pellet.

A kingfisher’s pellet is a round white bal that consists of fish bones and scales. A couple of times a day kingfishers have to spit out a 20 millimeter pellet.

A few weeks ago I spend some time in the Austrian Alps. After a few adventures hikes (at an altitude of 2850 meters) I spotted a herd of Alpine Ibex. It was great to see this type of wild mountain goat for the first time. The male herd consisted out of 8 animals, a mix of sub-adults and adults. Close to this herd also 3 females with in total 5 kids were seen. I will share more footage later on.
