One of the greatest consequences of unforgiveness is the loss of peace. A heart filled with resentment cannot fully enjoy the freedom and joy that God desires for His children.

When we refuse to forgive, we allow the pain of yesterday to control the possibilities of today. But when we forgive, we make room for God's healing, restoration, and blessings in our lives.

Unforgiveness is a burden that weighs down the heart. While we may think it hurts the person who offended us, it often causes the deepest damage within us. It steals our peace, hinders our spiritual growth, and keeps us trapped in past wounds.

Forgiveness does not justify the wrong done to us, but it frees us from the prison of bitterness. When we choose to forgive, we choose healing, restoration, and God's peace.

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." – Ephesians 4:32
