Africa’s creative revolution is undeniable. Afrobeats is charting globally. Nollywood is booming. Our stories are reaching the world, and yet, for many creators, scaling remains out of reach.

It’s not a talent problem. It’s a tool problem.

In the season finale of the Change Africa Podcast, I sit down with Peace Hyde, creator of Young, Famous & African and one of Africa’s most influential media voices, to unpack what it takes to build an African creative industry that competes on a global scale.

From production pain points to purpose-driven storytelling, we explore what’s needed to go from raw potential to billion-dollar impact.

For many in the African diaspora, identity isn’t something you're handed with confidence; it’s something you design, stitch, and reclaim for yourself.

In this episode of The Change Africa Podcast, I sit down with Paakow Essandoh, founder of the global fashion brand MIZIZI, to explore how he transformed cultural disconnection into a movement grounded in pride, storytelling, and international visibility.

What began as a personal search for belonging has become a brand worn by artists like Mr. Eazi and Davido, featured in GQ, Forbes, and Vogue, and partnered with cultural powerhouses like Marvel, Disney, and AfroPunk.

Growing up as one of the only Black kids in his school, Paakow experienced cultural shame and an identity crisis. That discomfort became the fuel for MIZIZI, giving the diaspora a bold, wearable way to express who they are and where they come from.

We explore how fashion can be a gateway to healing, heritage, and the belief that what you create can shift culture and carry continents with it.

In Africa, solving problems isn’t about plugging a single gap but redesigning the entire pipeline.

In this week’s episode of The Change Africa Podcast, I speak with Amma A. Gyampo, founder of Scale Up Africa, about what it takes to build lasting solutions on the continent.

We discuss infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and why African innovation demands an end-to-end mindset. You can’t build a platform without fixing the road that connects it, and you can’t scale impact without solving the whole chain.

From agriculture to tech, Amma shares why the best founders aren’t chasing buzzwords; they’re designing systems that reflect reality on the ground.

A lot of people talk about reconnecting with Africa. Few actually take the steps to make it happen.

In this episode of The Change Africa Podcast, I sit down with Claudine Moore, Managing Director at Allison Worldwide to explore what it truly means to build bridges between the diaspora and the continent.

Her journey started with a simple decision to travel to Ghana. What followed was over a decade of reshaping global perceptions of Africa, mentoring entrepreneurs, and amplifying African narratives across global media.

We dive deep into cultural identity, storytelling, entrepreneurship, and why responsibility in the diaspora must go beyond theory. You don’t need a perfect plan. You need to start.

Not everyone is buying property in Ghana for the returns. Some are buying to belong.

In this week’s episode of the Change Africa Podcast, I speak with Anna Agyekum and Victoria Agyekum, co-founders of On Point Property Management, about how real estate is becoming more than just an investment but a reconnection.

As the real estate market in Ghana matures, it's being shaped by diaspora identity, lifestyle aspirations, and a deep longing for home. Add to that Ghana’s stability and rapid urban growth, and you have a market with both emotional and economic value.

Most founders forget to tell us why they started.

Not the pitch deck "why."
The real one.
The one that drags them out of bed. The one they've staked their emotions, energy, and entire lives on.

In this week’s episode of the Change Africa podcast, I sat down with Ndubisi, founding partner at Mustard, to unpack the power of narrative in company building — not as a marketing tool but as the very foundation of why your business exists.

We discuss how founders can align their business narrative with their personal purpose, creating a brand that connects with customers, investors, and supporters who share the same vision.

This conversation is a must-listen for anyone looking to understand how capturing and sharing your why can reshape your business and deepen your connection with the world.
