Migration Patterns is a film screening series that explores new positions in African cinema and fashion. Using a deconstructed approach, the screenings unfold as film collages, interweaving archival interviews, news clips, and documentary excerpts with formative works by internationally recognised African filmmakers. Founded by , , and , the series has become a key site for cross-disciplinary dialogue in the city, activating new audiences and building networks for emerging and established filmmakers in the Global South.
They will be curating a special segment of the Fashion Cinema Experience, dedicated to breaking away from the linearity of traditional screenings and highlighting a strong curatorial vision guided by a central theme.
