TANZANIA AT 64
Tanzania is TODAY, marking 64 Years of Independence, but without the usual State Ceremony and Fanfare. The Country is still tense, angry and mourning the Extrajudicial KILLING of at least 3000 Tanzanians, mostly the Youth, during and after the October 29, 2025, Shambolic and Disputed Elections, according to the Country’s Opposition and a joint Revelation by Rights Groups.
Fresh Protests, calling for Justice for those KILLED and Injured, Electoral Reforms and New, Free, Fair and Democratic Elections, Unconditional Release of Thousands of Political Prisoners, Prisoners of Conscience, and a New Progressive People’s Constitution, are currently ongoing across major Cities and Towns in Tanzania.
Thousands of Tanzanian Youth, who went out in Protest on October 29, 2025, demanding a New Constitution or KATIBA MPYA, Electoral Reforms, under NO REFORMS NO ELECTION, Slogan, and for fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms, still Surppressed in Tanzania, were Massacred by Tanzania’s Police and State-sponsored Militia.
President Samia Suluhu who was declared the Winner of that SHAM ELECTION with 98% is now blaming the Parents, saying that their Children would not have been KILLED, had they advised and stopped them from going out to Protest.
She equally justifies the EXCESSIVE DEADLY FORCE used by the Country’s Authorities to Clamp down on Protesting Tanzanians, saying it was equal to the Threat they posed, claiming they wanted to Overthrow her Regime.
SHAM ELECTIONS:
SADC Electoral Observation Mission and the African Union Electoral Observation Mission, strongly Disputed Samia Suluhu's Re-election on October 29, 2025.
SADC Mission said that , "in most areas, Voters could not express their democratic Will. OVERALL, the 2025 General Election in Tanzania FELL SHORT of the requirements of the SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections."
The African Union Mission said that, the Election “did not comply with AU Principles, normative frameworks, and other international obligations and standards for democratic elections.”
THIS IS WHY THE VERIFIABILITY, CREDIBILITY & HENCE ELECTORAL RESULTS VALIDITY & ELECTORAL JUSTICE IN TANZANIA's🇹🇿 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS IS A PIPE DREAM.
Tanzania's Constitution Article 41 Clause 7 on the 'Procedure for the Election of President' States That: "When a Candidate is Declared by the Electoral Commission to have been Duly Elected in Accordance with this Article then No Court of Law shall have any Jurisdiction to Inquire into the Election of that Candidate".
This is one of the many REASONS why Tanzanians went to the Streets Protesting and Demanding for a New Constitution-KATIBA MPYA-and Electoral Reforms "No Reforms No Election" during the Shambolic Elections.
In Response, President Samia Suluhu's Regime Ordered a Nationwide INTERNET SHUTDOWN, a Night CURFEW and the Most Violent Crackdown on Peacefully Protesting Tanzanians. At least 3000 TANZANIANS were KILLED in Cold-blood, by Tanzania’s Police and State-sponsored Militia during and after the Shambolic Elections, according to the Country’s Opposition and a joint Revelation by Rights Groups.
The JAILING of leading OPPOSITION LEADERS and Banning of main OPPOSITION PARTIES in the run-up to the bungled Election, technically left President Samia Suluhu and CCM Party, running UNOPPOSED.
Among those JAILED are CHADEMA-Tanzania’s biggest Opposition Party Leader, Tundu Lissu and his Deputy John Heche. Luhaga Mpina, Leader of the second biggest Opposition Party ACT Wazalendo was also banned from Vying.
Many Tanzanian Politicians, Activists, Influencers and Opinion Leaders who have for long been agitating for a New Constitution, Electoral Reforms and other fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms in Tanzania, have either been assaulted and tortured into Silence, Jailed or Disappeared by successive CCM Regimes, and the current CCM Regime under President Samia Suluhu.
