The GHANA Journalists Association this afternoon (Friday, August 29,2025) successfully held a press conference to address a number of issues including the threat against the lives of Journalists which was made by the General Secretary of the Ghana Registered Nurses' & Midwives' Association - GRNMA, Dr Tenkorang that they have marked the faces of all Journalists who reacted to their strike action.

The GJA has given Dr Tenkorang FIVE days, starting immediately, to retract and apologise to all Journalists in Ghana for making such reckless comments. Failure to do so will cause the GJA to take further lawful actions against him.

GJA will continue to fight people who fight Journalists and press freedom in Ghana.
