Yesterday was all about family time at Busch Gardens Williamsburg! 🎢❤️

The weather was absolutely perfect, but wow… the crowds were some of the biggest we’ve seen in quite a while! Even with the busy pathways, we had an amazing day making memories, riding favorites, and enjoying one last taste of the Food & Wine Festival before it wraps up. 🍷🍽️

As one event comes to a close, another is getting ready to begin… and we spent part of yesterday checking out what’s next at the park. 👀

A brand-new teaser has arrived with the mysterious message: “Summer Is Not What It Screams.” 🎃😱

Even more interesting? Six Flags says new announcements are coming every Friday leading up to Haunt season. Could we be seeing new haunted attractions, scare zones, entertainment, or something completely unexpected?

🚨 IT’S OFFICIAL! STRANGER THINGS 5 IS COMING TO HHN! 🚨

The wait is over—Hawkins is returning to Halloween Horror Nights, and this time it’s shaping up to be the biggest Stranger Things house yet. With Stranger Things 5 set to bring the hit Netflix series to its epic conclusion, HHN fans will once again step into a world filled with Demogorgons, terrifying creatures from the Upside Down, and the looming threat of Vecna.

Over the years, Stranger Things has delivered some of the most popular houses in HHN history. From exploring Hawkins National Laboratory and Starcourt Mall to coming face-to-face with iconic monsters from the series, the franchise has consistently been a fan favorite. Now, with the final season on the horizon, Universal has the opportunity to create a truly unforgettable experience.

So what can we expect from this house? 👀

🔥 Massive Upside Down environments with incredible detail and effects

🔥 Vecna taking center stage as the ultimate villain

🔥 New creatures and scares inspired by the final season

🔥 Iconic locations from Hawkins recreated for guests to explore

If HHN follows the story of Season 5 closely, we could be looking at one of the most ambitious and story-driven houses of the year. The final battle for Hawkins is expected to be bigger than anything we’ve seen before, which means the scares, sets, and special effects could be on another level.

🎃👻 Did you catch it?! 👻🎃

Kings Dominion quietly updated their website yesterday and officially revealed the dates for Halloween Haunt 2026! 🕸️🦇

While we still don’t have all the details, this is the first real sign that spooky season planning is officially underway, and honestly… we’re ready! 🎃🔥

After last year’s event, we’re hoping to see some improvements, fresh ideas, and maybe even a few surprises lurking in the fog. 👀

What’s really got us thinking is what we’re seeing from our neighbors down at Carowinds. They’re already teasing new experiences to accompany their incredible The Conjuring attraction this year… and if that’s the direction Cedar Fair/Six Flags parks are heading, could Kings Dominion have something new up its sleeve too? 🤔💀

Right now it’s all speculation, but one thing is certain: Halloween Haunt is one of our favorite times of the year, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on every announcement, teaser, and construction wall that pops up between now and opening night. 🚧👻

And yes… our annual Halloween Haunt construction update tradition will be back as soon as signs of haunt season start appearing around the park! 🎥🎃
