Delighted to have designed this year’s poster for Pete’s Mini Zinefest at Pete’s Candy Store September 19 from 2 to 7.

Thanks to Nyx of Sea Green Zines over in Australia for making me feel all internationally zine-famous. To say I'm in good zinely company here is understating the obvious. (The link is cued up to East Village Inky 72, but you can scrub back for some Billy McCall goodness.)

You can get good mail like Nyx by ordering up the new issue or throwing caution to the wind with a subscription!

Contextualizing the new issue of THE EAST VILLAGE INKY: I fell short of my goal to publish EVI 72: Half My Life in NYC in time for you to ticket up and get your heiner to New York City for the Greedy Peasant’s annual Pride Eve celebration at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

On the other hand, now you’ve got plenty of warning for next year (start by following on instagram)

No way could my humble, little, black and white zine can do justice to the explosion of color and joy that yearly lights up the cathedral in anticipation of Pride month. I’m proud to bear the flag for the purple peasants.

Those who enjoy a hearty game of Where’s Waldo may enjoy picking Uncle Monkeybutt out out of the first image’s crowd. (Hint: he borrowed the hat I’m wearing on the cover of this ish)
