Same as working musicians in hopes for exposure and good words, goes for long time writers who cover endless bands/artists each year...
The only way any of us projects forward, is a mutual respect, and good words. Very much like and same as 'word of mouth'.
Many of the people in the music journalism world never see even a push for their career. Some of the more pushy, or just lucky to be in a good space, get some praise, over and over.... but too many of us who devote our lives to music, and especially we who play multiple instruments, know theory, and understand the entire scheme of things in stage, studio, the road, the toil, the expense, and the dedication it takes to make a consistent musical output, often get the lesser thanks, over a hot dog 'doogie houser' brat who has only some fancy words, and zero musical experience (past their concert passes) ... so I ask you...
What if fair and what is just? Do writers also get respect for their works, same as other artists? Seems all arts are the same with passion, donation of our lives, carelessness of what would be best for us, and/or all that could be possible only if we did the same pursuit of something else!!!! Could someone set me straight with thisconvoluted ensemble of ME ME ME, okay okay, or just fake F*K to get what you wanted all along?
