Feeling grateful to have featured on this year’s September issue - something that started from a late night convo, Romeo and I had less than two years ago. But ever since I can remember, since we were kids in a country far away from our roots, we’ve still been wearing our culture and values on our chests, thanks to our parents and family’s love. Often we hear about Filipinos in other countries outside of the Philippines, that unfortunately didn’t grow up with much representation in their abroad communities. That’s why I feel the importance of bringing people together, whether you’re Filipino or not. And like Nikki said in her recent post, “representation matters!”.
