On October 24th, 2025, an American hero returned home to his family and to his country.

2nd Lieutenant Charles Arnao of Cherry Hill, NJ gave the ultimate sacrifice on or about January 9th, 1945. He had been captured by the Japanese Army in 1943 and, along with other POWs, was being moved to Manila when the transport ship they were on was sunk by US forces, who did not know the POW's were on board.

His remains were confirmed in March of 2025.

This video shows the Dignified Transfer of 2nd Lt Charles Arnao in Philadelphia from a commercial airline to the care of a military unit. NewsTalk STL morning show host Mike Ferguson and his wife, Rachel, were on board that flight.

President Donald J. Trump's decision to hit suspected drug smuggling boats with missiles is controverisal already. Now he says the US might hit drug cartel sites in Venezuela with "land strikes" to keep the drugs from making it to our shores.

We asked Congressman Dr. Bob Onder about that this morning on NewsTalk STL.

Here's what he had to say about that possibility:

Our Story

This is the page where the media activities and efforts of Mike Ferguson are blatantly and shamelessly promoted.

Maybe a more marketable way to say that is...this is a central hub of sorts for the projects being worked on my Mike Ferguson Media (the media production and consulting business of, obviously, Mike Ferguson). Check out "Missouri Viewpoints", Mike’s weekly public affairs program that's now on the air in over 85% of the Show Me State. Mike is also a regular guest on radio stations throughout Missouri - and occasionally in other parts of the Midwest - and is a frequent guest host on talk stations around the state.

This is the page to keep up with Mike's media projects...radio, television or in print...and be the first to see and hear them. Some of the projects are news and public affairs, some are documentary, some are radio, and there will be occasional blog posts and podcasts posted here. The last two formats could center on any kind of topic. Thanks for stopping by!
