Virginia and I spent over six hours at NYC's 9/11 Museum yesterday. It was a powerful experience both visually and emotionally. Some FB posts suggest that people are forgetting this day but I will never forget. National Guard F16's being scrambled out of nearby Otis AFB - I've lived closed to Air Force and Military airfields most of my life and I've never heard jets so loud. The surreal experience of watching the second plane crash into the south tower live on TV (What didI just see?). Then the days of silent and empty skies, the canceled work, and the spooky feeling once work started again. If you get the chance, visit the museum, but allow the entire day. You will not forget it.

Virginia and I have been in our photo studio creating this beautiful shot of out new switcher package. The heart of the system is the ATEM 1 M/E switcher featuring 10 inputs, 3 program outs, 3 auxiliary outs, and 1 preview out. The system also features two Blackmagic 5" Video Assists for recording plus a 13" MacPro for Powerpoint or Playback Pro. Add multiple cameras and an engineering rack as well as laptop for webcast. It's a very nice package for events of any size!

Over the year's I've directed the live camera switch for many bands, Hall and Oates, Huey Lewis, the B-52s to name a few. But this has to be the most unique performance to date. It's William Close performing at an event for PCMA at the BCEC. The instrument he is playing is called an Earth Harp, the strings run from the stage to anchor points in the ceiling.

We provided a 4 camera switch, including a robotic camera hung from the center truss. It's another example of the creative partnership we've had through the years with Lightwave Productions and Michael Wasserman.
