90 days ago my wife texted me that a homeless man was on our porch saying he knew me. She let him inside to rest until I got home.
I rushed back, panicked for her safety—shocked she’d let a stranger in. But when I met Bobby, the fear vanished. He wasn’t dangerous, just a good man who had fallen hard.
On my doorstep, he expected rejection. You could see the exhaustion written on his face. Instead, my wife gave him food, warmth, and a safe place to breathe.
When he regained strength, we talked. What he needed wasn’t just charity, it was a chance.
So I showed him the Amazon Influencer Program. I explained how those “silly 2-minute reviews” could be his way out.
Even while homeless, Bobby got to work. He borrowed gear, picked up packages at a safe spot, and filmed review after review. He battled humiliation, doubt, and daily obstacles, but never quit.
The commissions started small. Then they grew. Slowly, they became enough for him to clean up, feel human again, and finally secure his own apartment.
Yesterday I visited. The door wasn’t a stranger’s, it was his.
Inside was a modest home, filled with quiet dignity. We cracked open two beers and celebrated how far he’s come.
This is what happens when someone extends opportunity and another refuses to give up.
This is redemption, brick by digital brick.
If Bobby can break the cycle, so can you.
