We are incredibly grateful for two amazing and unforgettable tours at Glenfarclas Distillery with Callum A Fraser ()! 🙏 From the very first touch of barley as it was unloaded from the truck 🌾🚚, to tasting the fresh New Make spirit 🥃, and finally sampling from the most expensive cask of our lives. Every moment was extraordinary.

is one of Scotland’s most iconic family-run distilleries, founded in 1836 in the heart of Speyside. Since 1865, the Grant family has proudly maintained its independence for six generations. Glenfarclas, meaning “Glen of green grassland,” is famous for its rich, sherry-cask matured single malts and traditional production methods. For nearly 190 years, they’ve stayed true to their heritage and commitment to quality.👌

Sadly, for the first time in almost two centuries, Glenfarclas is now facing a water shortage from the Ben Rinnes source💧—production is limited to just three days a week. This has never happened before in their long history, showing just how crucial water is to the whisky-making process and the resilience of the Glenfarclas team.

👑 A Royal Farewell with Royal Lochnagar 🥃✨

Our final day of whisky travels brought us to Royal Lochnagar. While I was hoping for a traditional warehouse tasting, we settled into comfy chairs with pre-poured carafes instead. Still, we enjoyed a stunning lineup: Royal Lochnagar 23y, Cragganmore 23y, Cardhu 21y, and—surprisingly—Lagavulin 21y. The highlight? Cardhu stole the show, a perfect finale to our trip!

Our Scottish adventure was filled with unforgettable moments—from breakfast with Alan Wi******er to evenings with friends in local pubs. Can’t wait for the next journey!

🌄 Sunday in the Heart of Speyside: Cragganmore & Glenlivet 🥃

We started the day with “The Pinnacle” tour at Cragganmore, and it exceeded all expectations! This laid-back Diageo distillery visit featured a rare highlight: a tasting straight from a 1986 sherry butt—an unforgettable surprise for a £30 tour! 🙌 The whisky was phenomenal, rich with history and flavor.

Next, we headed to Glenlivet for some relaxation at their stunning visitor center. The luxurious atmosphere, bar treats, and blue cheese popcorn were the perfect pairing for their classic whiskies. Glenlivet never disappoints!

The evening brought us to Braemar and Bertie’s Whisky Bar, where we enjoyed a unique night with whisky experts—tastings, stories, and new friendships. And the final bill? Let’s just say it’s best forgotten! 😄

🥃 A Saturday on the Go: GlenDronach, BenRiach, and Benromach 🚗

The day started early with a private tour at GlenDronach before the visitor center opened! Thanks to Brown Forman, we enjoyed an exclusive experience full of stories and top-secret plans for future distillery upgrades. The tour ended with 4 amazing drams, including hand-filled PX and Oloroso cask whiskies – simply outstanding! 🍷

Next stop: BenRiach, where we explored their three production styles, from classic to triple-distilled. We even discovered some leaky casks, adding unexpected fun! The tasting featured gems like Malting Season Second Edition and other limited releases. 😍

We ended the day at Benromach with an incredible surprise: not one but two 40-year-old whiskies! Who’d expect that on a regular tour? From early morning to an evening pint at Mosset Tavern, this day was unforgettable.

🌄 Perfect morning in Dufftown, unforgettable moments with Whisky Legends 🥃

Our second morning in Scotland started nervously—with breakfast alongside the legendary Alan Wi******er, followed by a tour of Balvenie with David Stewart. If you’re into whisky, you know these two are industry icons!

Meeting Alan was heartwarming. His thick Scottish accent wasn’t easy to follow, but his kindness and passion for whisky filled us with positive energy. During breakfast, Alan enjoyed Czech whisky from Svachovka—right from a coffee mug! 😄

The day was filled with unforgettable experiences, capped by David Stewart personally guiding us through Balvenie, sharing his vast knowledge and inviting us to a dinner full of great food and drams 🥃

What can we say? A day we’ll never forget. For whisky fans—a dream come true.
