Second Restaurant Closes Its Doors in Del Rio This Week

What’s going on, Del Rio? Just days after the closure of Molcajetes Restaurant, another local eatery has turned off its lights for good. Arby’s, at 2211 Veterans Boulevard, has permanently closed its doors as of today.

However, there’s good news, sources indicate the space won’t remain vacant for long, as another national chain is expected to open in its place.

This year Wash-N-Tunnel Carwash will be hosting our SIXTH annual Halloween Pet Costume Contest on Oct 28th. The event will take place at the Carranza Dog Park at 6:00pm we ask that all participants and their owners be percent by 5:30 p.m. judging will start at 6:00 p.m.

The latest 7-day precipitation forecast highlights two parts of the Nation expecting periods of heavy rain over the next week, the Pacific Northwest and south-central United States. 🌧

For the Northwest, an Atmospheric River is forecast to bring heavy rain, gusty winds, and high elevation snow beginning on Friday. Onshore flow and additional precipitation is expected through the weekend and into next week as the wet weather pattern persists.

For the south-central U.S., a slow moving system entering the region Thursday night could lead to numerous clusters of thunderstorms capable of producing excessive rainfall throughout the southern Plains and Lower Mississippi Valley between Friday and Sunday.
