For the first time, the sporting event will be co-hosted by Guangdong Province along with the neighboring Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions from November 9 to 21. Guangdong Province in south China added five new ports offering the 240-hour visa-free transit program starting on November 5, as part of China's ongoing efforts to further advance its opening-up policy. A number of homegrown passenger electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft made their collective debut at the ongoing 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. The showcase highlighted the INFLYNC L600 – the world's first full-size tiltwing ducted-fan eVTOL.
As a new type of aircraft, eVTOLs are powered by electric motors and adopt distributed propulsion technology, enabling them to take off and land vertically.
