Today we are proud to present ‘moon.burning’ the twisting and dynamic album from Midlands-born, Brighton-based artist (aka ) under his alias . Currently making waves in his coastal hometown, Jamie has gained support from the likes of Tom Ravenscroft + Deb Grant (BBC 6 Music), Amy Lamé (BBC 6 Music), and John Kennedy (XFM) and performed at this year’s The Great Escape, amidst a packed schedule of well received gigs. ‘Moon.burning’ is an enthralling and avant-garde listening experience, full of shifting beats, saturated textures, eerie atmospheres and moments of sonic nirvana.
Jamie explains: ‘This is an electronic sidequest, channeling abstract sounds from between the air, formulated on tape and silicone. An amalgam of digital heart beats and synthetic breathing. This project is concerned with noise for noise’s sake - an axe to the tree of artifice and fist in the face of pop.’ An odyssey of sound, this record another side to Jamie’s music sensibility and his insurmountable and unstoppable artistry.
