Q***r Power Hour host David Boyer welcomes pioneering broadcaster Randy Alfred, producer and host of The Gay Life 1977-'84; producer Chana Wilson, host of Radio Free Le***an and other KPFA Radio shows 1973-'83; and broadcaster Eric Jansen, producer and co-host of Out In The Bay 2004-'24. Through audio excerpts and live conversation, they'll reflect on how q***r people used radio to find each other, document their communities, challenge mainstream narratives, and create a public record of lives too often left out of history.
