In Episode 445 of Things We Said Today, Ken Michaels, Allan Kozinn and Darren DeVivo speak with Gary Van Scyoc, the bassist in Elephant’s Memory, the New York band that worked with John Lennon & Yoko Ono in 1972 (and whose Apple album, “Elephant’s Memory,” John & Yoko produced). Besides giving us an enlightening overview of his work with the Lennons on “Some Time in New York City,” “Approximately Infinite Universe” and the One to One Concerts, Gary touches on the breadth of his work as a studio musician and as a member of other bands. Beatles author DAVID BEDFORD returns to my channel to discuss his latest book "THE BEATLES: WHAT IF?" which takes a look at the many twists and turns in BEATLES history and how certain events affectedthe outcome of what was about to happen, and questions "What if" some of these circumstances never happened, like...
What if Brian Epstein never managed the Beatles?
What if Brian didn't die?
What if the Beatles never went to Hamburg?

David an his co-author ANDREW PHILLIPS analyze each situation and predicts what feel would have happened.
Another fun show here with David. Give us a watch, and tell us what you think!!!!

Wow---I had a great conversation among 3 prominent BEATLES AUTHORS, all from the U.K., for my series BEATLES PREFERENCES. In the show I pit 2 songs or albums against each other, and ask my guests to name which one they prefer, not necessarily which one is better (though it could be anyway.) Example---"Hey Jude" or "Revolution.")
My guests include DAVID BEDFORD ("LIDDYPOOL-BIRTHPLACE OF THE BEATLES," "THE FAB 104," "FAB FOUR CITIES," FINDING THE FOURTH BEATLE," and his new book "WHAT IF?") and...
ADRIAN SINCLAIR (THE McCARTNEY LEGACY VOL. 1 & 2" co-written with ALLAN KOZINN) and....
KEN McNAB ("AND IN THE END-THE LAST DAYS OF THE BEATLES," "SHAKE IT UP BABY-THE RISE OF BEATLEMANIA AND THE MAYHEM OF 1963," THE BEATLES IN SCOTLAND.")
And they all discuss why the songs/albums they picked were their choices. It's LOTS OF FUN!!!! Join the conversation, and let us know what you think!!! And PLEASE SHARE THIS!!!

Welcome to our 2nd round with our Beatles Preferences show, in which I ask my guests to choose between 2 or more songs or albums as to which they prefer to l...
