Dolly Parton Postpones Vegas Performances ...

From Dolly:

“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts,” she wrote. “As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon! In all seriousness, given this, I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see. You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you.”

Prayers for iconic bass singer Richard Sterban of The Oak Ridge Boys.

(Billboard) Richard Sterban, a member of quartet The Oak Ridge Boys for more than five decades, revealed on (Thursday) Sept. 25 that he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March of this year.

“I am under the care of the best cancer doctors in the country and, with the help of the Good Lord above, I believe I will be able to get through this,” Sterban said in a statement. He added, “I want to thank everyone, especially the fans, for your concern, and I would appreciate your continued prayers. Most days I’m feeling very good, and I hope to be back out on the road in several months.”
