Brig. James Naando is summoned in JUBA to response for the violation of Peace Agreement by attacking and captured SPLA-IO Cantonment area in Ri-Rangu.

Gen. James Naando has been committing atrocities in Western Equatoria State from Nagero, Tambura and Yambio where he and his forces under SSPDF killed, Detained, Looted and Displaced members of Balanda Communities in Yambio.

James Naando further went and attacked the Military base of SPLA-IO in Ri-Rangu as an alternative of cleansing Balanda Ethnic in Yambio whereby, dozens of Balanda members killed hundreds displaced in Saura payam of Yambio County.

In response to the criminal activities of Naando in WES, SSPDF spokeperson Maj. Gen. L*l Ruai denied involvement of SSPDF in ordering Naando citing, James Naando was conducting tribal conflict between Azande and Balanda in the state.
