π‘Did you know that not having a website is NOT a valid excuse for not starting your business...?ββββββββ
π Personally, I think that having a website as your "main hub" is the best option for a professional online presence, but it isn't a must to have it done before you start your business. ββββββββ
π That is why I'd like to offer you another solution to start as fast as possible β and consider having a website later on ππΌββββββββ
1οΈβ£ FIRST STEPββββββββ
ππΌ Create a business profile on the social media platforms where you want to attract people. Business profiles look more professional than private pages; besides, it is mandatory if you want to activate ads.ββββββββ
ππΌ Open a profile on job platforms where freelancers offer their services for customers to hire someone to complete a project.ββββββββ
2οΈβ£ SECOND STEPββββββββ
ππΌ Get your potential customers' emailsββββββββ
ππΌ You could directly ask for their emails so that you send them weekly newsletters, but this doesn't usually work that easily. You'll have to give them something in return. So get in your fans' shoes. What would they like to have?ββββββββ
3οΈβ£ THIRD STEPββββββββ
ππΌ Create your free product. It could be a free email series, a video challenge, an ebook, a free coaching session, or in-depth info on any relevant subject)ββββββββ
ππΌ Announce it on social media to get your fans' names and emails. ββββββββ
ππΌ Make sure you communicate what you will do with those emails.ββββββββ
4οΈβ£ LAST STEPββββββββ
π― Send them the promised product, service, or info.ββββββββ
And keep communicating with them every week!ββββββββ
As you see, not having a website isn't excuse enough! ββββββββ
π« So let's make 2023 the year you started freelancing!ββββββββ
